1) Take On The Great Outdoors

Let’s be honest, we’ve been stuck indoors for far too long over the past year. That’s why we’re looking forward to spending every waking moment outdoors once it hits summer.

From hiking to kayaking to swimming and almost everything in between, there are so many outdoor activities we’re looking forward to doing. There’s nothing quite like exploring the countryside with the fresh air in your lungs. That’s why everyone should take on the great outdoors at least once this year – and we’re here to help with that!

We honestly think one of the best feelings in the world is standing on the summit of a mountain after a cracking hike to the top. And it doesn’t have to be climbing to the top of Mount Everest – reaching any summit will make you feel like you’re on top of the world.

From England to Scotland to Wales, there are so many gorgeous mountains here in the UK just waiting to be conquered. If you’re looking for something different to do post-lockdown, take on one of these.

If you have no idea where to start, then take a look at our 14 Peaks Experience here in Wales. On this 4-day tour you’ll conquer the highest peaks in Snowdonia National Park.

All meals and accommodation are taken care of so you can just enjoy the beauty of North Wales. This experience IS challenging, but boy do you feel incredible at the end of it!

3) Blow Off The Cobwebs and Get The Adrenaline Pumping

It’s no secret that North Wales is the adventure capital of Europe. It even rivals destinations like Queenstown in New Zealand as the adventure capital of the world – there are just so many epic landscapes and adrenaline pumping activities to do here in this one area of the UK.

If you’re looking at blowing off the cobwebs this summer, then we’ve got you covered. From coasteering to riverbugging to ziplining, sometimes the hardest thing is deciding what to do. What if you didn’t have to make a choice though?

On our Adventure North Wales tour, you’ll do all of these activities and more over an 8-day epic adventure. This tour even includes one night in an off-grid bunkhouse at the foot of Snowdon – just another thing to tick off your Welsh bucket list.

Feeling completely fried after everything that’s gone on over the past year? Don’t worry, we feel you. That’s why we love our Wild Wellness Retreat.

Even before the pandemic this was one of our most popular tours, but it seems to have taken on a different importance recently. Basically, it’s now the tour we all need to get over the shock of Covid.

Our Wild Wellness Retreat is all about getting back to nature in the stunning landscape of North Wales. On this 3-day experience you’ll practice yoga in the fresh hill air, learn the zen art of stand up paddleboarding, discover the wild edibles in our hedgerows and while your evenings away around the campfire.

This sustainable experience has an incredibly low carbon footprint of just 22kg CO2e per person for your whole stay. It really is the perfect way to rebalance with nature and refocus your mind.

7) Learn A New Skill

Who here has watched Bear Grylls and wanted to learn bushcraft or foraging? Well, this summer is the time to do it!

On a bushcraft and foraging experience you’ll learn all the necessary skills for surviving in the wild. This includes how to identify wild edible plants and fungi that you can forage for a delicious dinner.

One of the best things about learning a new skill like this is you’ll do it with a like-minded group of people. Nothing will bring you closer together than scrambling around the wild learning survival skills for life. And what a way to bring you closer to nature.
