For adventurers who:

Are looking to pack maximum adventure into a short epic break with the ultimate micro adventure!

Perfect for couples, families and friends.

Hours 1 to 20

Morning:

Make sure you’ve had a good night’s sleep, the next 36 hours will be non-stop adventure!

Your stay with us is only brief, so lets get it off to a flying start! Beginning at ZipWorld, the home of Velocity2, you’ll get checked in and kitted up, ready for your safety briefing. And then you’re off for the experience of a lifetime, soaring through the air above an old Welsh slate quarry at speeds of around 100mph! Covering a distance of roughly 1 mile, this is the longest zipline in Europe and the fastest in the world. It’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced.

Afternoon:

Once your feet are firmly back on the ground, there’s time for a quick lunch stop to fuel up for your next adrenaline hit.

Did you know coasteering was born in Wales? So where better to experience it than here! Your next adventure is on the island of Anglesey.

Once kitted up and briefed by our coasteering instructor, you and your friends will set off to scramble, splash, leap and climb your way around the rocky North Wales coastline. Get ready for a physical afternoon and make sure you’re ready to take a leap of faith… well, several leaps actually! You’ll be rewarded with a unique perspective of this beautiful and naturally wild area. There’s plenty of sea birds to look out for and maybe even the odd seal or two, as well as intriguing macro life amongst the rock pools too.

Once you’re back on dry land, grab a quick shower to wash away the salty seawater and get ready for your next adventure.

Evening:

It’s time to grab your overnight kit. Back on the mainland, you’ll meet with your hiking guide at your hike starting point in Snowdonia. You’ll set off for an evening hike and a night of wild camping under the starry skies.

The wild camp location will depend on what time of year you choose for your 36 Hour Adventure experience. This allows us to factor in weather conditions and choose the place we feel will be the best experience for you. Options include staying in a traditional Welsh mountain bothy or tents.

Wherever we stay, you’ll enjoy simple hearty food and, weather permitting, a glorious dark sky full of stars. Snowdonia National Park is a designated International Dark Sky Reserve, making it an incredible place to lay back and look up at the spectacular night sky above.

Hours 20 to 36

Morning:

You’ll be up early to catch sunrise in the mountains, the most magical way to start your day. After a quick brew and traditional Welsh cakes whilst you pack up camp, you’ll set off on a dawn hike. The sun will still be climbing into the sky so you’ll want your camera ready to capture the stunning light.

Once back at your vehicle, there should* be time for another light breakfast bite to make sure you’re fully fuelled up (*depends how many photo stops you make!). And then you’ll set off to your first adrenaline adventure of the day.

You’ll head to the pretty riverside town of Llangollen, where your first experience will be Extreme Riverbugging. If you’ve never seen riverbugging before, you’re going to love it! Your bug is a small individual raft. Lay down face first and use your hands as paddles to head down the river, navigating a series of rapids along the way. When your face is just inches from the water, even the small rapids will set your heart racing! Swerve rocks, plunge through narrow rapids and even have a go at surfing. You’ll be grinning all the way down river until you reach the town centre exit point.

Afternoon:

By now you’ll have worked up a big appetite, so grab a hot shower and enjoy some tasty food at the watersports centre cafe.

It’s only 1pm and already you’ve camped, hiked and riverbugged today. Now it’s time for your next and final activity in North Wales. You’ll have been dunked enough this morning so we’ll keep it dry. You won’t be keeping your feet on the floor though…

By now you’ll have seen the towering cliffs of limestone that dominate views from the town. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor, your final experience is to abseil these imposing crags. As you step backwards from the clifftop, dig deep and believe in yourself to make it down safely. It’s a fitting way to bring your epic micro adventure in North Wales to a close.

It’s time to say goodbye to Wales. With so much to discover here it’s impossible to pack everything into just 36 hours. But together with your closest friends or family, you’ll have experienced an epic personal adventure, with awesome stories to share of your time here in North Wales.

Do you reckon you can handle it?
