Discover Wales’ Wild Side
At Adventure Tours UK we carefully craft a range of scheduled and tailor-made adventure holidays. Taking your clients deep into Wales’ wild spaces, with zero hassle They’ll lose themselves in moments of discovery, while we take care of the details.
Climb aboard the comfortable minibus and enjoy the views as you’re whisked from the airport straight to the beautiful island of Anglesey. A cosy yet modern boutique hotel awaits your arrival. This is where your clients will spend the first three nights of their Discovery North Wales experience.
Over the next few days they’ll explore the beautiful island of Anglesey with their guide, experience the infamous waters of the Menai Strait that separate Angelsey from mainland Wales and head into the stunning Snowdonia National Park. Here they’ll summit Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales and home to many a Welsh legend, on an incredible guided hike. Standing on top of Snowdon is a moment they’ll remember forever, with views as far as Ireland, the Isle of Man and England’s Lake District on a clear day.
What better way to get back to nature and truly experience a region than to pick it, cook it and eat it! Heading inland for the next few nights, they’ll begin the next stage of their journey in a beautiful glamping site, set within an Iron Age hillfort. Here they’ll experience foraging, learning how to identify the tasty edible plants that live in our hedgerows, fields and woodlands. A few bushcraft skills later and they’ll be cooking up a feast around the campfire that evening.
“At Adventure Tours UK our aim is to provide guests with the most honest and authentic experience possible, enabling them to discover the real Wales. With all transport and accommodation taken care of, our guests are free to focus on immersing themselves into the local communities and the incredible wild spaces we take them to.”

Back to all mod cons but still ready for adventure, the final three nights are based in a stylish boutique hotel in the pretty riverside town of Llangollen. Home to a dramatic limestone escarpment that towers above the town, this is the perfect setting for a day of hiking. Exploring the local hills on foot is a great way to catch sight of the areas abundant wildlife, including several birds of prey that make these hills their home. A different set of wildlife makes their home down at the river. To see these they’ll raft down the beautifully winding River Dee that runs straight through the heart of Llangollen.
