1, 2, 3… 4 Award Nominations!

It’s less than one year since we launched our adventure holidays and already we’re making a big impression! We’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted as finalists for 4 Welsh business awards so far. It’s fantastic to have recognition for all the hard work our team have been tirelessly putting in.

Rural Business Awards 2019

The Rural Business Awards recently announced their Wales & Northern Ireland regional finalists and we were delighted that Adventure Tours UK was named in not one, not two but three categories:

Best Rural Start Up Business

Best Rural Tourism Business, and

Best Rural Recreational or Outdoor Pursuits Business

The aim of the RBAs is to give recognition to businesses operating right across the rural sector, acknowledging the breadth and depth of opportunity presented by the Great British countryside. The winners of the regional RBAs will be announced at the award ceremony held in Wrexham on 8th November. The winners from each region will be put forward for the national Rural Business Awards in February.

Wales StartUp Awards 2019

As if that wasn’t enough, Adventure Tours UK is also shortlisted as a finalist in the Wales StartUp Awards. Recognising the achievements of entrepreneurs who have spotted the opportunity and taken the risks to launch a new business, these awards focus exclusively on Welsh start-ups.

We have been nominated as a finalist in the Tourism & Leisure Start-up of the Year category. Winners of the Wales StartUp Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony, held in Cardiff on 20th September.

Immersive adventure holidays

Our aim is to inspire and enable travellers from all around the world to discover the incredible wild spaces of the UK. And to do this whilst having a positive impact on the communities and environments that we visit.

We already offer a range of adventure holidays in the UK, including small group multi activity holidays, guided mountain biking and guided hiking breaks. For travellers wanting a completely tailormade experience, our Adventure Consultants are there to help you carefully craft your perfect adventure through our Private Group service. And we love to offer bespoke experiences for Corporate travel clients too, creating truly unique and exhilarating escapes from the office for their hard working employees.

Having our efforts recognised through these Welsh business award nominations is a huge milestone for us in our first year. We’d like to thank all of our wonderful partners, our friends at Visit Wales and Visit Britain and of course our wonderful guests who’ve adventured with us already this year!

And we’re just getting started… Roll on 2020!

Well we only went and won the Wales Startup Ward for Tourism & Leisure!
